CARROM CONTEST: UNITE AND PLAY AT CGC JHANJERI

In a dynamic effort to cultivate team spirit, camaraderie, and a sense of playfulness among its staff, the Human Resource Department at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri, recently organized a Carrom Championship. This event saw enthusiastic participation from staff members across various departments, showcasing the college’s dedication to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

The championship, held in the college’s premises, provided an engaging platform for employees to bond beyond their professional roles. Participants were randomly assigned to teams, promoting interaction between staff members who might not typically work together, thus encouraging a more integrated and cohesive workplace.

CGC Jhanjeri's management places great importance on creating opportunities for staff to engage in recreational activities. Such events are pivotal in breaking the monotony of daily work, alleviating stress, and strengthening interpersonal relationships among employees. By promoting participation in sports and games, the management aims to cultivate a workplace culture that prioritizes health, well-being, and mutual support.

The Carrom Championship culminated in a celebratory award ceremony where the victorious team was honored. The success of this event paves the way for more such initiatives in the future, reinforcing CGC Jhanjeri’s commitment to employee well-being and teamwork.
